The Architectural Works of Tomoya Masuda
Kyoto Institute of Technology, Arts and Crafts Resource Museum
This event has ended.
Tomoya Masuda (1914–1981), founder of a theory of architecture rooted in phenomenological ontology, spent his life examining the existence and meaning of the field. This exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of Masuda’s birth illuminates his work as both an architect and scholar of architecture with blueprints and models of his major works, as well as rare and never-before-exhibited sketches, documents, and lectures.
