This event has ended.

Clay pottery and many other kinds of artifacts from the bed of the Yamato, a river rerouted during the Edo period, have been found washed up in places such as Osaka’s Kashiwara City and Fujidera City. Known as the “Funahashi Artifacts,” these items reveal the beauty, skill, and soul of the people who created and used them. This exhibition introduces their scholastic importance through a private collection held by the museum.
