Copperplate printing remains at the heart of Akihiro Watabiki’s creative practice, which has expanded into painting, sculpture, and other genres since his debut copperplate print exhibition in 1984. In addition to new copperplate prints, this show presents Watabiki’s “cleargraphs” and other works made with innovative new techniques.
