This is the first retrospective of Kuriki Tatsusuke (1943-2013), who studied under Tomimoto Kenkichi at Kyoto City University of Arts and was greatly influenced by the genius of contemporary pottery, Kamoda Shoji. Kuriki created a stir in the world of contemporary pottery through his three-dimensional work backed by his solid skills. The retrospective features Kuriki’s work and his career from his early period until his later years.
