Since 1980, Kyoto Seika University has conducted an internship program to enable students the opportunity to gain experience within traditional crafts and culture such as dyeing and weaving, Japanese “washi” paper, woodblock printing, bamboo and woodworking, metalwork, Kyoto landscape gardening, etc. On show are the results of this fruitful placement program.
