Giorgio Morandi Exhibition
Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art
This event has ended.
This is a solo exhibition of Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964), a representative Italian painter of the 20th century, and is the first to be held for 17 years in Japan. The solitary master repeatedly painted a limited number of motifs, such as bottles and containers, and pursued a unique world of art. Around 100 pieces, mainly from Morandi Museum in his hometown Bologna, will introduce you to his world of art. This exhibition is a must-see for art fans.
