This event has ended.

The annex of the Hakutsuru Fine Art Museum became Japan’s first carpet museum. For its 20th anniversary, it presents a selection of Oriental carpets from the collection of previous director Hideo Kanno (1934–2010). While conflicts of ethnicity, religion, and ideas in the Middle East are reported daily, these carpets demonstrate the historically diverse culture and art of the region.
