Heartwarming and nostalgia-inducing works by the popular illustrator Mitsumasa Anno depicting the games and lifestyles of Showa-era childhoods and hometowns, selected from his picture books “Mukashi no Kodomotachi” (Children From Back Then), “Tsui Kino no Koto” (Already Yesterday Things), and “Kinobori no Uta” (Tree Climbing Poem), as well as the weekly publication “Shonen Jidai” (Childhood Days).
