Seiji Fujishiro’s silhouettes depicting worlds of fantasy and fairy tales number more than 30,000. His illustrations of girls, animals, fairies, and storybook creatures carry moving messages of hope, dreams, prayer, and the joy of living. This exhibition in the year observing the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII presents works imbued with prayers for peace by an artist who experienced the war.
