The hometown of this artist, Wakayama, is a special area with various fruits. Hasegawa makes original “Hai-Yu” glaze from ash burned timbers from the trees in her hometown. This glaze reveals the beautiful power of the colors within and blooms through interaction with the flame in her kilm to create a fantastic expression.
