This bi-annual exhibition started in 1971 and has attracted visitors from around the world. In the “featured artist” category, we have invited well-known artists to produce works, and in the “public competition” category, we have selected 150 works that represent the finest Japanese ceramics that go beyond style and fashion of the times, representing an unrestricted range of works from traditional one-off pieces to folk art, crafts, product and everyday tableware.
