Takao Inoue switched from classical Japanese painting to contemporary art at the age of 40. The works in his recent “Silent Language” series represent the ways in which our pasts connect to our daily lives. For this exhibition, he has created pieces from the scrap wood of small boats and paddles found in and around Lake Biwa, where he is from. This show coincides with Parasophia running through May 10th
