Through the creation of super-real objects, Nobuaki Onishi reconsiders what is real and what is imitation in this world of mass digitization. His third solo exhibition at Gallery Nomart, Onishi presents two new works: sculptural piece “Vacuum” and “Through Printing”, which applies a screen printing technique. However, unlike the usual screen process method of transferring ink through a mesh, the ink is sprayed onto the surface.
