This event has ended.

This exhibition highlights plants, whose beauty captures our imagination, whose fragrance gives us comfort, and whose vitality has attracted us for a long time. Claude Monet (1840-1926), spent a great deal of his time pursuing the source of creation. Numerous works were created in the garden, a place of contemplation and peace. In this exhibition, the expression of plants are shown through the museum’s collection, including Monet’s “Water Lilies”, old ceramics with plant patterns and works of modern potters such as Kanjiro Kawai and Shoji Hamada, and “Rankafu” , a series of botanical woodblock prints of orchids produced by the owner of Oyamazaki Villa.
