A collection exhibition focusing on artists with ties to Wakayama Prefecture and contemporary art. There is a special corner dedicated to the Wakayama-born animation director and magazine editor Seitaro Kitayama and the artists associated with him. Kitayama, who actively introduced Western art to Japan during the Taisho period, was excited by new Western works in art books and promoted them widely through his publications. This display looks back on his career.
