René Magritte Exhibition
Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art
This event has ended.
René Magritte was a representative artist of the 20th century art world who developed an individual style that jumped out of the regulated “frameworks” of our thoughts and activities. Acquiring the cooperation of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and the Foundation Magritte, 130 representative works will be exhibited. From his early to late period, the artist’s thought and creation will be traversed, addressing the skillful attractiveness of the mystery of Magritte’s art.
