This event has ended.

The Itsuo Art Museum presents from its collection a selection of arts and crafts from the Momoyama period, the era during which Hideyoshi Toyotomi ruled, including a famous portrait of the daimyo by Mitsunobu Kano designated as an Important Cultural Property. The works reveal the artistic contrasts of the era, as seen in the free and flowery style of genre paintings and the elegant restraint of ink paintings by Zen monks and the tea ware favored by Senrikyu.
