Ryosuke Yasumoto became deaf after a suffering from pneumonia as a young child. He became immersed in drawing in elementary school and majored in art at the Tokyo University of Education (now the Univesity of Tsukuba). He has won multiple prestigious awards, including the Showa-kai Prize. This exhibition presents acrylic and watercolor paintings featuring animal and insect characters.
