The Biwako-Bunkakan museum presents treasures including the works of renowned Hikone-born calligrapher Meikaku Kusakabe, the paintings of Gesho Cho (another artist from Hikone), and calligraphy, paintings, and ceramics (including Koto-yaki ware) created in or related to the city of Hikone.
