Changing Lifestyles is an annual exhibition at the Akashi City Museum Of Culture. Exploring the theme, “preparing for summer and winter,” this year’s show looks back on changes in lifestyle and culture from the early Showa era through the 1940s, as seen in items used in daily living to helped Japanese people get through hot summers and cold winters. Visitors can also learn about how heating and cooling devices were developed.
