The erotic or pornographic wood prints, “Shunga” were also called “Waraie” (laughing pictures) in the Edo period, as wit and humour played an important part in these sexually explicit ukiyoe prints.
This is a chance to encounter the Shunga prints which enchanted the masses, from the daimyo to the common people.
Access is restricted to over 18s.
