This event has ended.

Presenting a selection of Ukiyo-e from the museum’s collection: hand-painted Shunga from the early and mid-Edo period and multi-colored woodblock Shunga prints by Kunisada Utagawa from the late Edo era. Contemporary audiences can appreciate up close the vibrancy of the hand-painted works’ lines and colors and the high degree of skill and gorgeousness in the black and white and color woodblock prints.
