This event has ended.

The first solo exhibition in nine years for the Kyoto-based video artist duo Kawai + Okamura (Hiroki Okamura and Takumi Kawai). Having received global acclaim for their digital and stop-motion animations, they now present their latest projects along with earlier works.
Kawai + Okamura first made a name for themselves with their highly defined visual works at the exhibition “Shikakui Genre” in 1999. Here they feature their “Mood Hall/Mood Hole” project, several of their earliest films, and for the first time in Japan “Columbus,” which received the Computer Animation/Film/VXF Award at the 35th Ars Electronica Festival.
