Lux is a unit of light. 0.2 lux is the measurement of moon light, and a shadow of 0.2 lux refers to the shadow of the moon – something often hidden in this world of strong artificial light. Photographer Aya Kurashiki’s work seeks out human beings’ ambiguous forms as shadows cast by the pale light from the moon some 380,000 kilometers away.
