Presenting Kokuta Suda’s illustrations for Ryotaro Shiba’s travel essay series “Kaido wo Yuku” (On the Highways), which Suda illustrated through 1990s. For “Kaido wo Yuku,” Suda accompanied Shiba on trips to 63 locations across Japan and to countries such as Mongolia, Holland, Iceland, and France. This exhibition focuses on works from Europe and Mongolia.
