This event has ended.

Marie Laurencin (1883-1956) was a painter of 20th century Paris whose depictions of young women in pastel colors have enchanted many. She is also known for her stormy life, her passionate affair and break up with the poet Apollinaire and her time in exile during WWI. This exhibition provides an overview of her work from her early period, to mature years, across a collection of 80 oil pieces, rediscovering the appeal of her practice in the context of Japan.
