Heian-era pottery
This event has ended.
The Museum of Kyoto faces Sanjo Street to the south and Aneyakoji Street to the north. Sanjo Street, the point of departure for the Tokaido Road running from Kyoto to Edo, was traveled by many writers and artists. Both roads have a central presence in Kyoto, playing vital roles in the city’s culture. With the support of local residents, this exhibition examining the area surrounding the Museum of Kyoto paints a portrait of this neighborhood through its historical and cultural assets.
