Revealing new sides to their artists, each of these small works with motifs and compositions befitting their sizes shines with a brilliance belying it. Modern masters such as Dufy, Picasso, Chagall, Foujita, and more demonstrate an array of styles and techniques, while currently practicing artists such as Bernard Buffet, Tom Christopher, Thuguharu Fujita, and Kyosuke Chinnai display powerful originality. Forty works by 20 different artists are exhibited.
