Y Art Gallery presents a group exhibition of new works by 3 mutually respected artists. Koichi Iyoda’s delicate and skilfully composed pencil drawings entitled “Bel Canto” (named after the beautiful and mysterious style of Italian operatic singing) are exhibited alongside watercolor paintings and prints. Satomi Kuwahara’s nihonga painting entitled “Goethe’s Violet” is inspired by Goethe’s innocent poem and its accompanying melody perfect for the spring season, whilst Chie Hayashi portrays a dreamlike, ungraspable world which reflects changing nature and feelings.
