Taking models of daily lives such as a scoop, an electric bulb, a branch, Nobuaki Onishi develops art objects which he colors for the surface with transparent resin. He has captured the existence called the plurality by the technique of the print and technique of the multiple. In late years he produces the “Lovers Lovers” series focus on a plurality, and the series named “Vacuum” that focuse on the relationship between the front and back.
At this exhibition, he displays series Infinity Gray using the transparent resin under the theme of “The Scent of Copies and The Flavor of Numbers”. While seeking between the reality and the emptiness, a thing and a nothing, existence and non-existence, there is a things like vacuum behind an object.
