This event has ended.

From a young age, Yasuka Goto was amazed by her grandfather and great-grandfathers’ experiences during wartime and their ability to survive such a cruel age. These stories, and recently the conflicts and lives of laborers during this era who worked in places where her works are exhibited, are themes in her paintings. Portrayals of the people of this time and their determination to live bravely are found throughout her grand, wall-sized works.
