The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is an important international event dedicated to the children’s publishing and multimedia industry. Taking place every year in the ancient city of Bologna in the northern Emilia-Romagna Region of Italy, this year marked the 50th anniversary of the event with 3,191 submissions from 61 countries. Seventy-seven artists from 18 countries, including 10 from Japan, were selected as finalists. This year’s exhibition will include a special look back on the fair’s 50 years of history.
