This exhibition presents the unique sculptural forms of Masaomi Raku, the second eldest son of Raku Kichizaemon who is the current 15th generation head of the Raku family. With a tradition that dates back to the Momoyama period (1573-1615), the Raku family have continued to produce innovative and revolutionary tea bowls for over 450 years. Masaomi Raku’s exquisite granite stone sculptures are on show.
