Yui Usui’s previous exhibition featured works that took on the theme of comfort women and shadow work. Continuing with serious social themes, Usui’s delivery in this exhibition is lighter, using embroidery on cotton organdy or small glass bottles to confront the ideas of language and how it relates to politics and society.
