Since established in 1985, Studio Ghibli has released many animation films. Many buildings appear as a backdrop of the drama in the films. This exhibition features production materials such as scene paintings, artboards and background art of structures that appear in the films, from “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” to “When Marnie Was There.” Some of the structures will be stereoscopically represented to touch upon the roots of their design.
