This event has ended.

In May of 2013, a large number of paper collages were discovered when an abandoned kominka (a traditional Japanese home) in the Toyosaki district of Osaka was torn down. The city of Osaka has entrusted Gallery Yolcha with the management of these works whose owner(s) and creator(s) remain unknown. In Toyosaki Lost and Found, Ryota Nishikawa and Iori Nishiwaki, two artists using collage techniques, have selected which of these mysterious works to display. Their own creations inspired by the discovered collages are also presented.
