In a contemporary art world that puts moving image, installation and performance first, “Dribble” prioritizes the traditional art of painting. Started by Tomonari Nakayashiki and run by artists, this exhibition emphasizes the significance of painting - the texture and colors of the media, the illusions that only a flat surface can give birth to, and the intimacy that painting invites in the viewer.
