China has been a nation of advanced pottery culture ranging from stoneware to porcelain since ancient times, influencing nearby countries from Korea and Japan to the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and Myanmar. Presenting 180 works of pottery from China and other Asian countries, this exhibition introduces how Asian countries influenced each other in practices of color, form, and technology while also showcasing the uniqueness of their respective pottery cultures.
