Showing 32 new works by New York based artist Shida Kuo. The basis of Kuo’s creative energy comes from his personal query “Why do I react to certain forms and materials?”; a question that is posed to mankind as a whole. Through physical dialogue with materials which has been used by humans for thousands of years such as wood and earth, Shida Kuo uses himself as an intermediary, giving shape to the ancient memories contained within them.
