The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is an important international event dedicated to the children’s publishing and multimedia industry. Taking place every year in the ancient city of Bologna in the northern Emilia-Romagna Region of Italy, this year saw 76 illustrators from 24 countries, including 10 artists from Japan. Presented in this special exhibition is the work of Mexican illustrator Juan Palomino, winner of the 2016 International Award for Illustration at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Illustrations from his award-winning book “Antes del primer día” are displayed.
