A program curated by Ayako Takemoto, “Daily Reserves” presents 4 artists under their respective themes. The second artist of this series is Mayu Hirota, who worked for over a year at a pig farm after graduating university. Mayu Hirota kept a diary every day without fail from January 2016 after an infectious disease spread throughout the farm. Shown here are larger scale drawings based on her original diary entries.
