Introducing the work of Akashi City based artist Hidekazu Sugai. Journeying across Western Japan in his twenties, Hidekazu Sugai began to create paintings based on the landscapes and people he encountered. His incredibly detailed works are characterized by vast, almost hollow, blue skies.
