This event has ended.

A solo exhibition for Haruki Yamaba, a fourth-year Nihonga painting student at Kyoto Seika University whose artistic practice also extends to design and illustration. Yamaba spent six months studying in Germany. This exhibition presents a culmination of the artist’s studies with works depicting the beauty of physical movement in ink and dyes on washi paper. The title of the show alludes to the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, performed as an opera with choreography by the German contemporary dancer Pina Bausch.
