Though turning 60 this year, Takashi Suzuki has had a strong interest in the “extraordinary world” from a young age, performing plays on a psychology course or frequenting a meditation centre. After realizing the potential of pottery in allowing him to expand his daily lifestyle, Suzuki has continued to produce ceramics that reveal glimpses of an extraordinary world. Introduced here are his sculptural pieces and some rarely exhibited paintings.
