This event has ended.

This exhibition spotlights Chiso’s Kyoto-style Yuzen dyed fabrics from the wartime early Showa period, a time when the art form was in danger of disappearing but lived on thanks to those who continued the tradition. In addition to introducing actual examples of the fabrics, stoles featuring motifs of happiness passed down through the generations are also displayed. Come admire the enduring and evolving spirit of Chiso.
