Four lacquerware artists - Kenji Kubota, Takeshi Igawa, Hanako Shimojo, Megumi Ito - present works ranging from furniture such as tables and chairs, to tableware such as writers tools and sophisticated jet-black or maki-e objects finely decorated with lacquer sprinkled with gold or silver powder.
