Museum in The Nara area
The museum aims to deepen people's knowledge on Nara prefecture, an integral city in Japanese history, by studying its ancient ruins and resources. The museum has a permanent exhibition, "the Archeology of Yamato (Nara)", two featured exhibitions in the spring and fall, and a special exhibition in the summer featuring items from the most recent excavation(s). In the exhibition spaces, volunteer docents are available for questions and explanations of displayed items.

Adults ¥400, College - High School Students ¥300, Junior High - Elementary School Students ¥200. Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.
