Akarenga Museum
Museum in The Greater Kyoto area
The building that houses Akarenga Museum was originally built in 1903, to store the Maizuru Marines' explosives. Today, the building is recognized as one of Japan's oldest buildings made of red brick. The museum hopes to share Maizuru's culture and its unique array of red brick architecture.
