The Kiyomizu Sannenzaka Museum displays metal work, Cloisonnes, Makie lacquerware, and Satsuma ceramics from the late 19th century.
The techniques used in metal work, lacquer and Cloisonnes originated from Central Asia. After arriving in Japan, the techniques were appropriated and have become a significant part of the Japanese traditional arts culture.
