"Churyo Sato: Bronze Poetry of the Past, Present and Future" Exhibition
Sagawa Art Museum
This event has ended.
Churyo Sato is the first Japanese sculptor who models Japanese faces and not Europeans. In this exhibition, Sato focuses his sculptures on the models of "typical" Japanese people. During his production, Sato hastens his gaze at the model's past, present and future. Therefore his sculptures seem to tell the models' life stories.
